Call for Poster for the vfdb Annual Conference 2023 in Münster 

The Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection (vfdb e.V.) invites you to the 69th Annual Conference in Münster from May 15 - 17, 2023. 

Present your research, your findings and your perspective there! 

The Technical-Scientific Advisory Board (TWB) of the vfdb invites young scientists, trainee fire officers, academics and practitioners to present a poster on ongoing or completed projects, qualification work or work-in-progress topics. Under the motto "Full coverage in a disaster - Can we help ourselves?", experts from all disciplines of civil security (research) will meet to discuss current issues, present research results and promote the transfer into application.  

Authors will have the opportunity to explain their posters in person and answer questions at the evening event on May 16, 2023. Participants in the poster exhibition will receive free admission to the conference on May 16, 2023. All accepted posters and the corresponding text summaries will be published online on the conference website. A lecture is not associated with this. An award for outstanding work is planned. 

Please send an informal abstract (max. 1 A4 page, Arial 11 pt, single-spaced, MS-Word) including the project title, a short introduction of the author(s) and the institution as well as your contact details (address, telephone number, e-mail address) to the managing director of the TWB, Dr. Michael Neske (, by March 20, 2023.  Please use the subject "vfdb Annual Conference 2023 - Poster Session". Authors:inside will be notified by 05.04.2023. Please note that posters for the online exhibition on the website must be submitted by 05.05.2023 and the poster in A0 format must be brought to the conference by the authors.
